Gold Standard Surgery
Higher standards of surgical care.
When your pet needs surgery, they deserve gold-standard care.
Our veterinary professionals are expertly trained to perform numerous surgical procedures, and we use a multimodal approach to pain management, including laser therapy, to ensure your pet’s comfort.
Anesthesia
Our trained veterinary professionals use safe and effective anesthesia protocols and state-of-the-art monitoring equipment before, during, and after each surgical procedure to improve your pet’s comfort, and protect their well-being. This specialized care includes:
- SurgiVet® —The latest surgical monitoring equipment is used to monitor your pet’s heart, lungs, blood oxygenation, carbon dioxide levels, temperature, and blood pressure.
- Bair Hugger® — Your pet’s body temperature can drop drastically during a surgical procedure, so we use a Bair Hugger® convective body warmer to keep their temperature at an appropriate level.
- Intravenous fluid therapy — Fluids are administered continuously during your pet’s procedure to provide cardiovascular support.
- Proper medications — Our veterinary professionals will choose the appropriate anesthetic option for your pet. When possible, we use easily controlled, reversible medications in an injection or inhalant form.
- Assigned veterinary technician — A personal surgical and recovery veterinary technician is assigned to each patient, to ensure they receive vigilant attention and care.
- Multimodal pain management — Pain medications are given as needed before, during, and after a surgical procedure.
- Detailed discharge instructions — We ensure your pet’s discharge instructions are clear and understandable, so you know exactly how to care for them at home.

As veterinarians, we take preventing, recognizing, and managing pain in pets seriously. We provide a multi-modal approach to pain management, using a combination of medications, anti-inflammatory therapies, physical rehabilitation, joint supplements, and specialty pet diets. We tailor each pet’s pain management plan to ensure they remain happy and comfortable. Pain management therapies utilized by our veterinary team include:
Photobiomodulation (Laser)
Laser therapy is a non-invasive, drug free pain management option used to alleviate acute and chronic pain, so your pet can quickly return to their everyday activities. Our machine offers multi wavelength capabilities (MLS) laser, which is one of the most technologically advanced therapeutic lasers approved by the FDA. We are committed to providing the highest-quality health care for your pet, and we feel this investment in our patients is important to remain on the forefront of medical technology.
The MLS laser uses specific light wavelengths to penetrate tissues, accelerating cellular reproduction and growth, which leads to more rapid cellular repair in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Swelling and inflammation subside, and the pet’s pain is alleviated. In short, laser therapy stimulates the healing process and speeds recovery. Laser therapy has no known side effects and has been proven safe and effective for treating many debilitating conditions, such as:
- Arthritis
- Tendonitis
- Intervertebral disc disease
- Hip dysplasia
- Sinusitis
- Wounds
- Post-surgical swelling
- Lameness
- Lick granulomas
- Ear inflammation
